Lexington Wellness Holdings, Inc. d/b/a CoachCare is hiring for a Graphic Designer.
Position Title and Duties
Graphic Designer - Responsible for design and user experience on all media used by the business, including digital, print, and social media via the internet, mobile app, and physical collateral, ensuring quality visual design at the outset of each project. Duties include developing graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and web sites, as well as creating designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts; creating computer-generated graphics and animation; creating interactive prototypes based on specifications determined by market research; collaborating with CoachCare team to develop and refine designs to meet user needs; drawing detailed and technical illustrations; maintaining records and documents of projects completed; reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements as needed; ensuring that digital materials use an interface design that functions across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms; using HTML/CSS and the full Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustration, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Premier Pro); and engaging in professional development and researching new technologies to remain abreast of current trends. The Graphic Designer will coordinate the activities of one freelance Junior Designer who assists the Graphic Designer with developing custom-branded graphic design materials.
Prevailing Working Conditions
Work schedule Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm.
Location of Employment
Company headquarters located in New York, NY but employee may work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Minimum Job Requirements
(1) Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, or closely-related visual arts field.
(2) 3 months of experience in a graphic design and/or art direction position, either paid or unpaid, to include experience with print and online ad content, using the full Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustration, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Premier Pro), and interface design across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.
(3) Company headquarters located in New York, NY but employee may work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
